This study aims to determine the effect of the use of instructional strategies PQ4R (preview, question, read, reflect, Recite, review) to the learning outcomes of students in the material motion physics class VII SMP Negeri I Baitussalam. This type of research is experimental research with quantitative methods. The data collection was done by using a written test consisting of the initial test (pre-test) and final test (post-test). The study population was in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri I Baitussalam 2015/2016 academic year consists of three classes. Of the total population sample was determined by 48 students consisting of classes VII- b and VII-c. Determination of the samples was done by purposive sampling by observation with a physics teacher at SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. Processing data on initial test (pre-test) and at the final test (post-test) using statistical tests that the t test. Class VII- b designated as an experimental class given learning using learning strategies PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) and class VII- c defined as the control class given learning using conventional strategy. The results of data analysis showed that there PQ4R Influence of Learning Strategies (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) Against Student Results In Motion Creative Class VII SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam.
